API

Syncing

The REST API covers the same records as the app: transactions, invoices, customers, documents and the inbox. Use it when you want your own script or export.

Permissions

Keys can be full access, read-only, or limited to the resources you pick. A read-only key can answer questions and cannot edit a transaction. Create a separate key per tool.

Setup

Create a key in Settings and send it as a bearer token. The MCP server is the better fit for AI clients. The API is the better fit for your own software.

Disconnecting

Disconnect at any time from Settings. Export everything you stored, whenever you want.
